You must be gentle in applying pressure on your horse mouth. If you are being harsh while applying pressure- your warrior may get irritated and insensitive to your orders.

In addition to it- while clenching, make sure that you don’t clench it tightly with your legs. This will also make your horse irritable and irresistible.

When you ride you have to keep adjusting reins. When you need to go faster, keep on shortening it, and when you slow down your speed- lengthen your reins.
