Behavioral patterns and health conditions of both groups of horses are observed and from previous researches, it has been observed that horses in both groups snort while eating. But the snorts are not observed when they are silent or aggressive.

But the noticeable difference that was observed in these two groups was that snorting increased 10 times more in the horses of group B as they were exposed to better living conditions and food quality. Hence it was concluded that snorting is associated with happiness.

Favorable conditions also resulted in a greater frequency of snorting. It was observed that when horses are in a relaxed and secure mood, they snort more.
